A.N Basketball is operated by Anıl Nurel (registered entity name: NUREL, ANIL), a sole trader, ABN 20 551 564 549. Contact: info@anbasketball.com. Business correspondence address: Unit 4, 58 Fletcher Street, Bondi NSW 2026, Australia.
1. Scope and related policies
These terms govern use of our website and the purchase of our basketball services. Purchases are also governed by our Membership Terms and Sales, Cancellation and Refund Policy, made available before checkout. The Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain information handling; accepting a contract is not blanket consent to optional marketing, photography or tracking. Our Disclaimer provides general information and does not override your legal rights.
Specific booking details agreed before purchase prevail over general descriptions. Mandatory legal rights prevail over all these documents. If an inconsistency arises, contact us; we will not use it to remove a right or benefit promised when you booked.
2. Parents and guardians
The person purchasing a child's place must be at least 18 and have authority to enrol the child. Provide accurate contact, age, experience and relevant safety information and keep it current. Do not purchase using another person's payment method without permission. A membership is for the named player, not for sharing or resale.
3. Bookings and availability
Review eligibility, schedule and inclusions before paying. A place is confirmed when we issue a booking confirmation. Payment or a website thank-you screen alone does not establish that a particular group has capacity. If we cannot accept a paid booking, we will notify you, stop any associated subscription and refund the payment for the unavailable service. We will not knowingly take payment for unavailable places.
We may decline a booking for reasonable reasons including lack of capacity, an unsuitable program level or a safety issue that cannot reasonably be accommodated. Decisions will be made consistently with applicable discrimination and consumer laws.
4. Website use and intellectual property
Our original website copy, branding, photographs, videos and training materials belong to us or our licensors. You may access them for personal information and your family's participation. You must not reproduce them commercially, resell them, misrepresent an association with us or use them to create a competing training product without permission, except where permitted by law.
Do not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorised access, submit malicious content or use our forms for unlawful or abusive purposes. We may restrict access reasonably necessary to address misuse. This does not remove rights relating to an existing purchase.
5. Website information and errors
We take reasonable care with program information. If a material error affects your booking, we will explain it and seek agreement on a correction. We will not impose an undisclosed higher price. If we cannot supply the agreed service, the Sales, Cancellation and Refund Policy and applicable law determine the remedy. General website content is not a promise of a particular sporting outcome.
6. Payments and security
Payments are processed through Stripe. Do not send full card numbers or security codes to us by email or enrolment form. You authorise only the payments disclosed and agreed at checkout. Payment processing failures do not remove your consumer rights or give us authority to charge undisclosed fees. Report an apparent billing error promptly so we can investigate.
7. Conduct and access
Parents and players must follow reasonable safety and venue rules and treat staff and other families respectfully. Abusive, threatening, discriminatory or dangerous behaviour may lead to removal from a session. Ongoing suspension or termination is addressed in Membership Terms. We do not prohibit reasonable criticism, truthful reviews, complaints or contact with regulators.
8. Third-party services
Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience. Their content and privacy practices are outside our direct control. This does not exclude responsibility we retain under law for services we supply or arrange. Do not assume that a linked organisation endorses A.N Basketball.
9. Legal rights and responsibility
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts a guarantee, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. We do not impose a blanket exclusion for negligence or personal injury, an arbitrary cap on mandatory remedies or an indemnity requiring parents to pay for our own wrongdoing.
Responsibility for any loss is assessed under applicable law, including the conduct of each party and any duty to mitigate loss. You remain responsible for your own unlawful conduct; these terms do not create an automatic charge or penalty for it.
10. Changes
The terms provided when you purchase govern that purchase. New terms may apply to future purchases. Material changes affecting an existing membership require reasonable advance notice and, where required, agreement or a fair opportunity to cancel before the change takes effect. We do not retrospectively reduce prepaid benefits. Necessary immediate safety measures may be taken with an explanation as soon as reasonably practicable.
11. Complaints and governing law
Contact info@anbasketball.com with your booking details and concern. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 7 business days and respond substantively within 30 days, or explain a delay. You may approach NSW Fair Trading, a court or tribunal with jurisdiction without first obtaining our permission. NSW and applicable Australian law govern these terms. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue where legally possible.
