Our website explains A.N Basketball programs and offers general basketball training information. General tips do not replace an individual assessment of a player's needs or form a promise of a particular result. Membership entitlements are determined by the agreed booking details, Membership Terms and applicable law.

Physical activity and injury risk

Basketball involves running, jumping, changes of direction, physical contact, balls and shared playing surfaces. Even with reasonable care, injuries can occur. Parents should tell coaches about relevant health conditions, injuries or support needs and obtain advice from an appropriately qualified health professional where uncertain about participation. Players should not train when illness or injury makes participation unsafe.

This risk information is not a release of A.N Basketball from its legal duties and does not waive a child's or parent's non-excludable rights. Coaches' instructions are training guidance, not medical diagnosis or treatment. In an emergency, seek appropriate emergency assistance.

Development and selection

Players develop at different rates. We do not guarantee a particular improvement, scholarship, representative selection, team position or sporting career. Any example of a player's progress is specific to that player. Program placement and coaching decisions are made reasonably with safety and development in mind.

We take reasonable care to keep information accurate. Schedules may change for legitimate reasons, with affected families notified and applicable remedies respected.
