Sales, Cancellation and Refund Policy

A.N Basketball is operated by Anıl Nurel (registered entity name: NUREL, ANIL), a sole trader, ABN 20 551 564 549. Contact: info@anbasketball.com. Business correspondence address: Unit 4, 58 Fletcher Street, Bondi NSW 2026, Australia.

1. Scope and your legal rights

This policy applies to our training memberships. Nothing in it limits remedies under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. Our change-of-mind rules do not apply where you have a statutory right to cancel, receive a refund or obtain another remedy. There is no blanket “no refunds under any circumstances” rule.

2. Payment and sales information

Prices are AUD. Weekly Membership is A$45 per week; the 10-Week Upfront Membership is A$350 paid once. We are not currently registered for GST and do not charge GST. Check the program age range, dates, venue changes and inclusions before purchase. A free-trial signup is an automatically converting subscription, not simply a no-obligation enquiry. The trial and renewal terms must be shown before you agree.

3. Free trial and weekly cancellation

Cancel before the trial-end time to avoid the first charge. After paid billing starts, cancel before the next renewal to stop that payment. Use Manage Membership where available or email info@anbasketball.com. The time we receive a clear email request determines whether it is timely. We confirm the cancellation and correct payments taken after a timely request.

Access continues to the end of the paid period or the current term, whichever is earlier. No extra cancellation fee applies. We do not ordinarily refund a correctly charged, already commenced weekly period solely for change of mind or personal non-attendance. This is subject to your legal rights and our obligations if we cannot supply the service.

4. Ten-week upfront membership: change of mind

The upfront price purchases a place in a scheduled ten-session program. We do not offer change-of-mind refunds for this package simply because you decide not to attend, change your personal schedule or no longer want the program, unless we agreed otherwise before purchase or a refund is required by law.

Unused sessions are not automatically exchangeable for cash, transferable to another player or carried into another term. Contact us about exceptional circumstances. We may agree to a credit, transfer or other accommodation case by case, subject to suitability and capacity. Such discretionary help does not replace any remedy to which you are legally entitled.

5. Absence, illness and injury

Families are responsible for attendance. A missed session does not cancel a subscription or automatically entitle you to a refund, credit or make-up class. Inform us as soon as possible about illness or injury. We consider reasonable requests for assistance without promising that another session will be available. We only request health information reasonably necessary to assess the request and safe participation.

6. Cancellation or material changes by A.N Basketball

If we cannot supply a booked session, we notify affected families and offer an appropriate remedy. We may offer a suitable replacement. If a replacement is not reasonably suitable, we will refund the affected undelivered service rather than require you to accept a credit. For an upfront session, the usual starting calculation is one tenth of the training amount actually paid. For a weekly membership, it is the amount attributable to the included session not supplied. These calculations do not restrict a greater remedy required by law.

If the whole program is cancelled before it starts, payments for it are refunded and associated future charges stopped. Where events outside our reasonable control interrupt delivery, we communicate the options and act in accordance with the contract and applicable law; we do not automatically retain all payments for undelivered services.

7. Faults, errors and disputes

Tell us about duplicate charges, incorrect amounts, service issues or a cancellation that was not applied. Where a consumer guarantee is not met, the available remedy depends on the nature of the problem and the law. A minor problem may be remedied within a reasonable time; a major failure may entitle you to cancel and obtain the relevant refund or other compensation. We do not require a waiver of legal rights as a condition of a remedy.

You may contact your payment provider about a disputed transaction. We ask that you also let us know so we can investigate, but do not make contact with us a condition of exercising a legal dispute right.

8. Requesting and receiving a refund

Email info@anbasketball.com with the booking name, payment email, transaction date and a short explanation. Do not include full card details. We may request reasonable evidence of purchase; a particular receipt format is not the only acceptable proof.

We aim to acknowledge requests within 7 business days and explain the outcome or next steps. Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method. We will tell you the processing timeframe; bank processing can vary. We do not deduct Stripe fees from a refund where doing so would reduce a remedy required by law. Complaints may also be referred to NSW Fair Trading or an appropriate court or tribunal.
