Membership Terms

Last updated: 26 September 2026

A.N Basketball is operated by Anıl Nurel (registered entity name: NUREL, ANIL), a sole trader, ABN 20 551 564 549. Contact: info@anbasketball.com. Business correspondence address: Unit 4, 58 Fletcher Street, Bondi NSW 2026, Australia.

1. Program and eligibility

These terms cover the Weekly Membership and 10-Week Upfront Membership. The current Term 4 2026 program is for ages 8–14 at beginner and late beginner levels. Other academy programs may have different ages and inclusions. Coaches allocate suitable groups and may adjust placement for safety and development, taking reasonable account of the player's needs. Membership does not guarantee team selection, a scholarship or a particular rate of improvement.

2. Prices and inclusions

Weekly Membership costs A$45 per week. The 10-Week Upfront Membership costs A$350 in one payment. A.N Basketball is not currently registered for GST and does not charge GST. All amounts are Australian dollars.

Each option includes one scheduled coached training session per program week. The upfront option covers the ten published Term 4 sessions. Training includes skill work, team play and scrimmage. Training court hire and coaching are included. Jersey purchases, association registration, competition entry or other optional services are not automatically included unless expressly stated in your booking. Any additional charge must be disclosed and agreed before purchase.

3. Seven-day free trial

Where offered and selected, Weekly Membership starts with seven free days from completion of signup, unless a different start is expressly shown before signup. A payment method is required. The trial covers the included scheduled training opportunity during that period, not unlimited sessions. Check the schedule before joining; contact us if there is no suitable session during the proposed trial window.

The trial is available once per player unless we expressly offer otherwise. Duplicate enrolments or false details must not be used to obtain repeated free trials. If an eligibility issue is identified, we will contact you; we will not retrospectively charge for a trial without your agreement.

Unless cancelled before the trial ends, the subscription automatically converts to A$45 weekly billing. Your checkout and confirmation show the trial-end and first charge details. Missing the trial session does not itself cancel the subscription. If we cannot provide a suitable trial session, contact us before conversion so we can arrange an appropriate adjustment without charging for an unavailable trial opportunity.

4. Weekly billing and end of term

After the trial, agreed charges recur every seven days until you cancel or the current term ends, whichever occurs first. No minimum ten-payment commitment applies to this weekly option. Term 4's last scheduled session is 17 December 2026. Membership does not automatically renew into the following term.

Your booking confirmation identifies the applicable billing and access dates. We will not continue weekly billing beyond the sold term. A final billing adjustment may be needed where the weekly cycle and term end do not align; it will not result in payment for a period in which no included training can be provided. We will explain any adjustment. A trial does not extend the term or guarantee ten paid sessions.

5. Cancelling Weekly Membership

Cancel through the Manage Membership service where available or email info@anbasketball.com from your booking email. Cancel before the trial-end time to avoid the first paid charge, or before the next renewal to prevent that renewal. We use the time an email request is received, not when staff process it. If you do not receive confirmation, contact us again; this does not invalidate an otherwise clear, timely request.

Cancellation stops future renewals. Access continues for the current paid period, subject to the term-end date. There is no additional cancellation fee. Correctly charged periods already commenced are not ordinarily refunded for change of mind; legal remedies and the refund policy remain available. We correct charges taken after a timely cancellation request.

6. Ten-week upfront purchase

The A$350 payment buys the ten scheduled Term 4 sessions, not an open-ended bank of sessions. There is no automatic renewal or conversion to weekly billing. Unattended sessions do not automatically transfer to another term or player. Change-of-mind cancellation is governed by the Sales, Cancellation and Refund Policy. If joining after the program has begun, ask us to confirm the remaining inclusions and price before purchasing the full package.

7. Schedule and changes

The first three Term 4 sessions are 13, 20 and 27 October 2026, Tuesdays 5–6 pm at Perry Park Recreation Centre, Court 2. The remaining sessions are 5, 12, 19 and 26 November and 3, 10 and 17 December, Thursdays 5:30–6:30 pm at Throwback Store. Refer to your current confirmation for updates.

We may make reasonable changes to coaches, group allocation or arrangements for safety, illness or venue availability, while preserving the substance of the service. A materially unsuitable change gives rise to the remedies described in the refund policy and applicable law. We will notify you as soon as practicable.

8. Attendance and safety

Attendance and punctuality are the family's responsibility. Tell us about absence, relevant medical or support needs and changes to emergency contacts. Wear suitable sports clothing and footwear and follow reasonable coaching and venue instructions. Parents arrange safe drop-off, authorised collection and supervision outside the scheduled session; do not leave a child before staff have accepted responsibility.

If illness or injury makes participation unsafe, do not send the child to train. We may request proportionate information or clearance where reasonably needed for safe participation. Basketball involves physical risks; our Disclaimer explains them without removing legal rights.

9. Non-payment, suspension and termination

If a payment fails, we will notify you and provide a reasonable opportunity to resolve it. We may suspend future participation while a properly due amount remains unpaid, following reasonable notice, and explain the billing effect. We do not keep charging indefinitely for training we have stopped providing. No undisclosed penalty or debt-collection fee is imposed by these terms.

Immediate removal may be necessary for a serious safety threat. For other material conduct breaches, we ordinarily explain the concern and give a reasonable opportunity to respond or correct it. Continuing suspension or termination must be proportionate. We stop future renewal charges and refund unused prepaid services where appropriate or legally required; fees are not automatically forfeited as a punishment. This does not prevent recovery of a proven loss through lawful means.

10. Privacy and permission

Enrolment is not permission to use a child's image in marketing. Photo/video and marketing permissions are separate and optional. The Privacy Policy explains necessary information handling. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
